European Film Festival In Ethiopia
After an absence of two years because of the global COVID-pandemic, we are particularly happy to announce that the « European Film Festival 2022 » in Ethiopia will take place at VAMDAS Entertainment Movie Theatre during three weekends in May.
This year’s festival showcases 18 prime movies selected by the following participating European countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden as well as a movie selected by the EU Delegation to the African Union.
The broad selection of movies portrays Europe’s diversity in arts, culture and history. The Festival shall also revolve around the values that Europe wishes to promote: peace, dialogue, tolerance and compassion.
All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles. All screening will be at hall 1 of the VAMDAS Entertainment Movie Theater. Entrance is free of charge at a first-come-first-serve-basis except for the opening night being by invitation.
