
Daniel Dendir Abshir
Daniel is a team leader for research and policy analysis at Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce. He also served as senior researcher, senior policy analyst, and advocacy expert for the Chamber. Daniel has more than fifteen years of professional experience in a wide range of fields with increasing level of responsibilities that includes transport logistics coordinator, policy formulation expert, and planning expert at Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Specifically, working in chamber of commerce, which is engaged in providing business developments services and advocating in favor of private sector development, Daniel has hands on experience, skill and ability in policy plan and national business agenda undertakings; quantitative and qualitative research on socio-economic issues and trade and investment issues, challenges and opportunities; public policy analysis and influencing strategies; private sector development advise with focus on SMEs promotion, Business Development Services, Project Management, and Value Chain Management; and Public-Private Partnership and Dialogue and Negotiation.
Daniel has Master of Arts Degree in Economic, specialized in Competition Policy and Regulatory Economics at Addis Ababa University.
