Dr Selamawit Eshetu is a medical doctor and international sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocate. As a program officer at IPPFAR, she leads a project called the Global Advocacy and Accountability program which aims to enhance the legal, political, and economic commitment of SRHR by African Union member states. Her vision is to create a world where women and girls of all backgrounds have equal access to life-saving reproductive care services. Selamawit holds a Master of Science in community nutrition and is serving as a board member of the Ethiopian Medical Women Association (EMeWA).
