Hailemelekot Mewael is the famous and respected writer and teacher for the last 33 years in Amharic language. He is known with his outstanding novels titled <<GUNGUN>> and <<YEWEDIANESH>>. He has published other books, different stories and articles. Hailemelekot has been worked as a producer and editor in E’FOYI’TA and FE’RT magazines.
Hailemelekot is the member of Ethiopian Writer’s Association consulting board and member of <RED TERROR memorial association>>. Hailemellekot Mewael is known with his support for the young and known writers. He edited more than 50 published books of different writer’s works
