Mohammed Kassa
Mohammed is the definition of dynamic; He is a prolific entrepreneur and an animated orator. He describes himself as “a Protector of Ethiopian History, Culture, and Environment” “የባህል የታሪክ እና የተፈጥሮ ተቆርቋሪ”
After dropping out of law school to support his mother and four siblings, his journey led him to work in a mechanical garage. He later owned the garage but eventually went bankrupt. Afterwards, he started acting in theaters and began writing plays and directing movies. He founded Care Events and organized Taste Of Ethiopia by bringing authentic local chefs from all Kebeles of Ethiopia. More recently, he started the March to Adwa – and WALKED 1100km for 46 days from Addis to Adwa…the list goes on! To make a statement on women’s equality, he made his wife’s name the middle name to his child! Mohammed currently owns and runs Zebib Foods, a vegetarian restaurant dedicated to making high-quality food affordable to Ethiopians and Ethiopian food lovers with three locations around Addis.
